Fused glass can be practical or just be…beautiful. There will always be a place or occasion that can benefit from the addition of fused glass; weddings, anniversaries, birthdays or a thoughtful house-warming gift. Maybe something for yourself. And why not? As the light reflects and dances around the glass it’s enough to brighten anyone’s day.
VALERIE LETLEY
GLASSOPHONY FOUNDER

"After three decades in television production, my move to East Sussex marked a pivotal return to my creative roots. Meeting fused glass artist Tony Wynne in 2014 rekindled the artistic path I’d set aside in the 1980s, when I exchanged my degree in Dress, Art & Design for a career behind the television camera.
Drawing inspiration from nature, childhood play, and abstract art, I create functional homewares, decorative pieces, and jewelry that celebrate glass’s inherent brilliance.
In television, collaboration was everything. Now my team consists of myself, the glass, and the kiln—a partnership built on trust, experimentation, and discovery."

The name Glassophony emerged from my love of music and its parallels to working with glass. Like a symphony that brings together instruments and musicians to create something sublime, my work is a symphony in glass—harmonious compositions where colour, light, and form unite. I see myself as both composer and conductor, guiding the process while allowing the glass’s natural radiance to take centre stage.
